7th grade teacher to class, "What are some things that can help you as you prepare for this PSSA test?"
Student "Teamwork"
"Can you explain this more?"
"If I don't know the answer on the test, I just asked my friend sitting next to me. It is like coach always says, 'teamwork! teamwork!'"
Ha ha well, I can see the logic...!
ReplyDeleteHahah! My daughter is taking hers now too.
ReplyDeleteLol, hmm is that what they are calling it nowadays? I thought they would say consult my smart phone, which has most of the answers on it!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, I love it!
ReplyDeleteI teach 7th grade and it so sounds like something they would say!
ReplyDeleteCompletely logical - from a 7th grader's point of view! You have to give them an "A" for creativity!
ReplyDeleteI am a retired teacher Jr. And Senior High Art.I had 33 years of this logical thinking lol Thanks for sharing Joann Come and follow me back
ReplyDeleteWhat is the PSSA never heard of them but hell that maybe because I am in a different country.......lol
ReplyDeletehihi, now I learned something new. :)
ReplyDeleteFunny, but if you have eight kids you ARE a teacher.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have thought of that in 7th grade.....well, maybe thought it but would not have said it nor consider doing it. Would have been too afraid of the Wrath of God....and that of my parents =)
ReplyDeleteThat's more like 10th grader logic :-)))
ReplyDeleteat least the kid was honest. thumbs up for that. ha. ha!! (:
ReplyDeleteOh, too cute! Hugs
ReplyDeleteOh no!! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteKids say the darndest and most honest and most creative things! :-)
ReplyDeleteSpanish Pinay

ReplyDeleteBy the time I was in 7th grade our teachers were no longer hitting us, kicking us or yanking the hair on the back of our necks for those kind of answers. But still, I would think twice before saying something like that. Glad your 7th grader didn't have to!
ReplyDeleteLove this!! So glad you found my blog! Following you :)

ReplyDeleteI still remember teaching 6th and 7th graders in my student teaching practica. They really keep you on your toes!
ReplyDeleteLol...you have to give them credit for thinking outside of the box!!
ReplyDeleteLOL to funny!
ReplyDeleteHaha, clever kid!
ReplyDeleteNow that is some intelligent thinking!
ReplyDeleteToday, a fellow teacher was telling her 7 year old, if you think someone will copy your work, if you think you will copy someone's work. You use another book to cover your work.
ReplyDeleteGood one! lol :)
ReplyDeletelove it!
ReplyDeleteoh my...a whole new definition of teamwork....

ReplyDeleteDear Momto8, thank you for following Friko's Poetry and Pictures. I actually say on the blog, that it neither follows nor comments on other blogs. The poetry is just my own pleasure and not really aimed at a large following. My main, blog, Friko's World, is the sociable one.
And some do - sadly. sandie
ReplyDeleteState testing starts in just a few weeks for my 7th grade math students. I wonder if it's too late to teach them "Team Work"! Thanks!
ReplyDeletehahaha, this is so funny! though hope they don't grow in that kind of team work.
ReplyDeleteLOL that's so funny!!! Funny how kids interpret things!
ReplyDeleteToo funny!
ReplyDeletehaha- so funny!
ReplyDeleteI have taught 7th grade, and stuff like this is actually one of my favorite parts of that age--they're funny and very honest. They're just discovering logic and these connections. I rarely met a 7th grader who could actually lie, the truth is written all over their faces.
ReplyDeleteWow, I can so see the logic here LOL. I mean, what else can you say to the kid?
ReplyDeleteLol! Kids are so funny. There are wise guys even in 7th grade.
ReplyDeleteLOL!! Haha. Cute. :) I don't know what I will do if my kids tell me that.
ReplyDeletelol. Too cute. I'm a new follower.
ReplyDeleteHaha...that's awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great answer...at least someone was listening to the coach's pep talk! ;)lol

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and commenting on my potty tips post. I so appreciated it. I am following you back, as well! ;-)
ReplyDeleteBeing a teacher I have heard and seen much more. Things to make to smile... laugh... and SCREAM. The kids do provide humor, but WOW ... you really never know what is going to come out of their mouths.
ReplyDeleteHeehee...classic!
